About Me

I am Brittany Marie, a 30-something year old from the Pacific Northwest! I stay home with my littles – 4-year-old identical twin boys, Camden and Liam, and 2-year-old boy, Asher. We also have four angel babies we hold in our hearts until we meet them again Heaven – Theo, Hannah,  Baby M, and Baby MM.

The love of my life and my teammate in raising these littles – Travis – is the most selfless and hardworking man I know. He gives all of himself to care for and provide for our little family. We live a busy, but simple life and enjoy family time whenever possible at home or at the local beaches and parks.

I decided to create this space after our experience trying to grow our family. All my babies have made an imprint on my heart – no matter how brief their lives. Going through the heartbreak of losing our three angel babies, I found sharing about my experience helped me bridge the isolation I felt. I am blessed with friends and family who have supported and prayed for my family and me through our losses and grieving. Their love has been instrumental in carrying us through.

Motherhood has taken on characteristics I never anticipated. Having babies that are not on earth with me has made me appreciate my identity and life as mother in the most wonderful ways.

Parenting is a beautifully wild and joyous adventure. It is the best part of my life. Nothing prepared me for the love that I have for my babies. It is an indescribable, overwhelming, and all consuming love. A love that makes my heart smile.

Along with the love and the joy and the fun, come challenges. Challenges that we share with each other but are also unique to our own children and our own families. Parenting is so hard. And my hard is not the same as your hard. And my hard is no more important than yours.

I have learned so much from my experience with loss, with raising twin boys who have neuro developmental delays, and with raising boys that started us out with 3 boys under 2. I truly believe that we are each our own best parent for our children. And as fellow mothers, we all just need to encourage each other and help each other believe that for ourselves. I believe in a positive parenting approach and helping our kids live happy, healthy, and intentional lives.

My faith and belief in the Heavenly Father is very much a part of my and my family’s life. I am still learning and growing with everything I do. I am not an expert other than in raising my own family. But I hope you leave here each time feeling encouraged, supported, and seeing the beauty in yourself, your parenting, your family, and your life. My goal is always to be genuine and real. To always share good and the kind, but also the hard. And hopefully in doing so, I can help someone else realize his or her own worth as a mom and person. Thank you so much for being here with me. It truly means the world!
